In my search for backpacking gear buying resources, this seems to be the best site I have found. It is of course geared toward higher-end products, but they give recommendations for their top picks and then some budget picks for good products for a good price. Their testing methods seem very good as well, taking all of their reviewed products out into the wilderness and testing them side by side. As the market becomes more and more flooded with products, it gets harder and harder to decide where to spend your hard earned money, so hopefully others can enjoy what I think is a solid resource for cutting through the hype of name brands and price tags in order to find which products are really worth your time.

Thanks for pointing out this site!
I always wished Consumer Reports tested camping/hiking gear... This looks like the same idea.
