Noted the Dons Camp out near Peralta Canyon Trailhead is in rough shape, anyone know if they still use it ?

It is I believe private property that is occasionally used but may have limitations put on it by the USFS. Do a search on HAZ forum to read previous posts about it. Many years ago the Don's organization was quite active but may be just a ghost of itself compared to years ago. In the 80's I witnessed the Don's guiding visitors to their gathering on the trails and the Don's guides were all in their 70's at least.

I'm pretty sure its still in use. Isn't that where they hold the prospectors' convention/meetup thing every year?
