Big agnes 4 season 3 wire bivy sack

Picked up the new Big agnes 3 wire 4 season bivy two weeks ago took it out for 15 minutes and realized the i need more room then a bivy can provide. Dont get me wrong this bivy can fit two people in it. but im 260lb and would like to sit up from time to time .I decided on a full size single tent. I paid $338 for the bivy i'm willing to sell it for $200 or trade for a solo tent .

Why are you selling it? Why not just return it to the store where you bought it? Most places will take stuff back.

I tried. I called them the same day and they told me yes but when i got there they told me they would only give me 100 for it .I asked to speak to the manager since i was told yes twice. He was not a nice man. i even emailed them twice and never received a response. I tried the bivy one more time and i really need a larger tent .Dont get me wrong this is a cool bivy i'm just a tent guy lol.

Where did you get it, they must not have a very good return??? Timing is terrible, I am extremely interested, but won't have the funds until March....

I heard about the AZ Hiking Shack refusing to take something back. Was it that place? I guess that is one good thing about REI, they do take stuff back.

i can wait if your interested i'm in no rush. i do more day hikes then multi day. I will be in Scottsdale for all day tomorrow off of the 101 and shea . if you want to stop by and check it out.

LOL yea the hiking shack was the place . i was a huge fan of that place until now .Its rei only for me now.
