as well as jaw dropping, one hundred mile views of central Arizona
For me, sometimes it's just as much about the journey as the destination. Oh, and once in awhile, don't forget to look back at the trail you've traveled.

I would suggest, if you want more to sign up, that you actually create an event. Carpool meetup spot. How many drivers? Time of meetup in Phoenix. Who can drive? Who needs a ride? Where to car camp, for those who want to. After-hike plans for gathering, etc., etc.

So..... I will be out of town tommorow afternoon for the next few days and may or may not be able to check HAZ. If you have any questions, comment here or pm me. I will check them sometime before Thurs. or Fri. For those who haven't read the whole thread, the hike is Saturday 5/18 and will start at 8am with a second opportunity at around 10:15-10:30am. I will pm all committed by Friday the actual meetup place which will be in Scottsdale at 6am. Flat Denny will be making this one but unfortunately Tortoise Hiker will not.
a fabulous event . Bob was a great trip host including trip commentary (history) and making sure everyone was accounted for and of course the grilled dogs with condiments at the end. Can't beat that!
:thanx: Richard for driving the Mazziemobile!
It was good to see more of the Bradshaw Mountains and of course to hook up with new HAZers and renew previous hiking acquaintances. I think Flat Denny certainly added great frivolity for the day.
Tried to load the first of the two part video last nite but as usual, youtube didn't like my timing. Will try again tonite though it seems youtube previews the morning load when I'm at work rather than at nite when I'm sleeping... very frustrating!
Anyway, it was a great event and I look forward to the next one .

Video 2: hike to Mount Davis and down to trailhead - http://youtu.be/nY5bdNMkQUE
I am having difficult viewing Video 2 as it hangs up and then when it seemed to be going well, it stopped short of the end so if you don't see "TibberProductions" at the end, there was a section you missed. Sometimes you can put the cursor back to the area and view. So anyway, if you have trouble, it might be one of those you can code to watch later and hopefully the glitches will be gone.

I'd swear I passed 3D Denny on Trail #100 yesterday, with two ladies, one in an AC/DC t-shirt. I didn't say anything, because I didn't want to embarass myself if it wasn't him. (Which was likely ...)
