I'm new to Arizona and I need some tips. My girlfriend and I, with some friends, want to go camping on New Year's Eve.
Does anyone know of some paved accesible campgrounds in southern Arizona and California that might be a good pick? We know it will be a bit chilly, but with a fire it should be all good.
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!

re:
A little late on the reponse on my part; but I suggest taking Az 86s and doing some hiking in there. Or, if you're in the California area, which I really seem to like the southern part of CA, take CA 111 south or north, you'll run into a bunch of hiking along there where you can see for miles. It's great!
