Contractor tasked with thinning acres in N. Arizona criticized for slow start

The nation’s largest forest-restoration effort is moving at a perilously slow pace, critics believe, as a government contractor’s lack of financing has stalled plans to clear 300,000 acres across four northern Arizona forests.
