Re: Kermit-Toto-Angel Blue Loop
That's sort of a long hike, isn't it? About 24 miles. I'm not in shape for it right now. Too much typing (going to school) plus 40-hour job.

Yes, sort of. 24 miles or so, 12 hour day tops. No takers? Meh, guess that means I can start later and go faster!

Re: Kermit-Toto-Angel Blue Loop
Hanging out with my Backcountry friends today after work they mentioned a spot open at Granite Rapids...so, guess I'll stay there tomorrow night!
good, gives me more time to explore and find all the neat stuff along the trails...

Re: Kermit-Toto-Angel Blue Loop
Nice hike to get there. I've hiked down to Monument Creek camp and also have hiked UP to Monument creek Camp, last year. Rowed Granite Rapids, too! That was the biggest one I rowed last year. What a thrill!Hippy wrote:Hanging out with my Backcountry friends today after work they mentioned a spot open at Granite Rapids...so, guess I'll stay there tomorrow night!![]()

Re: Kermit-Toto-Angel Blue Loop
Good luck, Hippy - that's a big hike, whether you do it in 2 days or 1. But SO beautiful. And I bet the Tonto is still super green...
