Grandview - Hermit

Post by hikeaz »

I was wondering if any of the Grand Canyon Village residents would like to earn a bit of Christmas $$ by running a vehicle or two from Grandview to Hermit ANYTIME between 10/27 and 11/1. If so - please let me know.
Conversely, if there is someone(s) hiking the opposite direction during the same period .......

Thanks!

(Edit - I am aware of the various commercial shuttle services, I'd like to avoid their use and help out a fellow hiker instead).

I'd help but I'll be in Phoenix heading for Reavis Ranch on the 30th. Pffft!! Hit me up on the 27th I'll see what I can do for ya!
You can always take the shuttle bus to/from Hermit and call the local Taxi to pick you up/ drop you off from Grandview!

Isn't there some sort of a hiker shuttle, or does it not go as far as Grandview?

@azbackpackr the village taxi service has taken me as far as Grandview before, but I gave her an extra $2 and I knew her previously so maybe that helped...

@azbackpackr
Unfortunately, the hiker shuttle doesn't go all the way out to Grandview, only as far as Yaki Point.
