Ladies and gentlemen, since I was SO lucky to have missed out on an awesome adventure last year, :stretch: , it has been requested of me to put together a Supes Ridgeline event post-Turkey day!
So here it is!
Saturday, November 30th
Heading up from Siphon Draw NO LATER than 8am.
We already have one vehicle for a key swap or shuttle, any volunteers for second vehicle?
(Come on now...if no one volunteers I'll have to do an out-n-back )
Sweet beans!!
Thank you DBMooner for being one of our shuttlers!
Widowmker, if you'd also like to shuttle back (so we don't have to shove 10 people in one truck!) I know we'd be willing to drive with you to Carney Springs TH and then all together out to Flatiron.
If anyone needs to carpool from Scottsdale/Tempe/Mesa let me know, we have....2 spots in 9L' jeep. (and plenty of room in the "cargo hold"!)
@MtnBart01 you're right it's not that bad, its extremely easy compared to the hikes I've been logging up north. I wouldn't mind doing out and back but I know a few of the people who are joining us (non-HAZzers) might think differently. Would you care to join me in an out and back next week??
Anyone need to carpool? Meet at 9L's place at 7am, we have 2 seats left, msg him for directions.
Everyone else meet us at the mining camp restaurant parking lot by 8am.
DBMooner and his friends will be parking a truck at Carney Springs Trailhead to shuttle us all back after the hike.
Widow if you still want to park a car at Carney let us know, we'll have to leave a bit earlier to drive you back.
Anyone and everyone is welcome to come out to Arizona Wilderness Brewery with us Post-hike to celebrate!
(anyone carpooling with John and I, we will be heading straight to the brewery before returning to the condo)
@Hippy
If I still lived there and 5 ski areas on my epic pass didn't open up while I've been at work, the offer would be tempting. I enjoyed the hike, but I think one time is enough this year. http://hikearizona.com/photoset=2310
Have fun!
@splefster - Of course you're welcome to join us. There is a very good chance we'll take you up on the shuttle offer as well. We have one truck that will be set for the shuttle. The three additional seats you're offering will be very convenient for us.
@Widowmaker & everyone else - Meet us at the Mining Camp Restaurant parking at 7:45ish. We want to be moving by 8am. The hike across the Ridgeline should take 7-8 hours give or take.
Does anyone have any questions? If not see everyone tomorrow morning at the Mining Camp Restaurant.

@azhiker96 if you can find someone to take you to Carney to drop off your car that'd be great, maybe you and Widowmaker could work that out. Would love to have you join us!
My timing depends on unscheduled surgeries at my hospital Friday night. Worst case is I'm heading out about 7am from 24th St which means I'll have to beat feet to make it to LDSP in time. If I'm not called in then I'd be heading out from Gilbert which puts me much closer and able to easily meet at Mining Camp restaurant.
I'll pm widowmaker to see if we can coordinate.
