Marble Canyon camping trip Jan 17-20
Would anyone be interested in going camping on the northern edge of Marble Canyon (between Badger Canyon and Soap Canyon) January 17-20. The turn off is Highway 89 MP 545 (130 miles or 2 hours from downtown Flagstaff). That is Friday evening through Monday (MLK Day) morning. The leaving/returning days are flexible. We could take day hikes down to Badger Rapids, Soap Creek Rapids, Cathedral Wash, and the Vermillion Cliffs. I'm not that familiar with hikes north of Highway 89. Fishing is an option of you have an AZ fishing license with a trout stamp or a hunt & fish license.

Re: Marble Canyon camping trip Jan 17-20
I just sent the following e-mail to a few of my Tucson hikin' peeps, and if I get any positive responses there's a high likelihood I'd spend MLK weekend Vermillion Cliffing with you.
"I'd been thinking of trying to interest some of yooz guys in my own version of this event, viewtopic.php?t=8085. The only difference betwixt amos68's event and mine is mine would be in June. That said, I'd be willing to do this one 'cause "it's there". Wadda ya say? Any takers?"
