Maricopa Trail-Spur Cross to Cave Creek Rec. Area Sun. May 2
Starting at the Spur Cross Conservation Area and taking the Maricopa Trail thru it and down to the Cave Creek Rec. Area and back. Only going to the border of the Cave Creek area, so about 16 miles RT. For right now (4.22.10) the forecast seems to be upper 70s. If the weather starts to heat up too much, this one might need to be changed. Leaving Mesa at 5:30am.

Good meeting you today. Enjoyed your company. Made the trip more fun trying to figure out where you guys would be at what time and figuring out what time I should start from my end. Boy did it get dark and stormy looking as the day went on!

Yeah, we were hiking semi-north into that. I mentioned that it looked like rain and Andrey said they weren't thunderclouds. an hour later I told I thought he might be FOS about that. No rain or lightning happened, though.
