Four Peaks Motherlode
Let the madness begin. Myself and a couple of buddies have decided its time to make an attempt at these great 4 peaks. I've read your triplogs, viewed your photos, and determined that its probably not a bad idea to find a Motherlode veteran, or two or three, to join us on our trek. Ability-wise for my group...Flatiron a piece of cake, 5057 via Carney and Superstition Ridgeline a muscle-pumping good time, Salt Trail Canyon in September heat with 40 pound packs our toughest challenge to date. We are ready to make a full day of it. Anyone else want to jump on board?
This is my gym. I have to travel down a bumpy road to get there. There are no treadmillls, no machines, and no personal trainers. I walk..I run..I breathe the fresh air. I can go any time I want, as much as I want and there is no membership fee.

@Rick Vincent
You might want to add a can of Iron City to the list. And a MAC card.

Re: Four Peaks Motherlode
Heading out Friday morning and might hit the Jug, Devil's Canyon, Fish Creek or something fun on the way out. Then, will take El Oso Rd up to 4 Peaks and camp out Friday night. Motherlode bright and early. Hope a couple of the "interested" can make it up. Room in my truck if anyone wants to come along Friday morning as well. May be some others joining us and driving up later Friday evening.
For me and a couple friends this is going to be part of a 4 day outing. Not sure exactly what we will be doing each day, except the Motherlode is locked in for Saturday.

Re: Four Peaks Motherlode
Final Check in on this event: 3 confirmed hikers (myself and a couple of buddies). Still, a chance at some last minute add-ins. Could be just 3 of us...or maybe 6. Who knows? I've pretty much decided on taking my friend Dean out to the Jug Friday morning and then heading up the mountain via El Oso after a good burger at Jakes Corner. It looks like I still have someone coming up Friday afternoon from Mesa. Another twisted his ankle yesterday and is doubtful. Anyone else interested in contacting me about this event can reach me on my cell, 480-258-3443. Text message or leave voicemail and I will check periodically when I have service.
