Camelback via Echo Canyon Closure (2013)

I hadn't seen anyone mention this on the forum so I figured I would. Echo Canyon will be closed from 1/28 until sometime in the fall while they do trailhead improvements. I hadn't heard about this until a co-worker mentioned it. Cholla will still be open and I'm pretty sure you can come most of the way down Echo-- just not to the TH.

Six days a week going to and from work the Mrs. and I use Invergordon from Camelback to Lincoln. During the holidays and or Sat. the chaos of the masses, including tour busses and limos dropping off folks is amazing. I almost feel sorry for the homeowners on Sage. It must feel like being in a zoo.
Every time my wife sees all these people she says...Oh the poor mountain.
