OK, I'm seeing a lot of people posting interest in Friday hikes...in addition to myself and a few buddies who also have Fridays off oftentimes. Let's give it a shot...who's in for a day hike on Friday the 31st? Post interest here, and places of interest.
I've been interested in checking off another chunk of the Highline Trail...I've done See Canyon TH to 260 TH, but want to do everything else west of See Canyon TH. Mostly, I think what would be ideal is somewhere within a couple of hours drive tops from Phoenix so the heat won't be totally unbearable (100 or less)

I'll drive and be leaving my side of town at 10 til 2:00 to be at Bob.s by 2:30. Where do you want to meet? We can meet at Bass Pro again if you want at 10til2:00 or somewhere. I'm going to bed early so let me know.
Could meet you somewhere closer to your place, since I'm just a few miles southeast of you (McQueen/Ray)

I'm with MARLIN. I can't get up at 1am to meet at 1:50, just too early. You two have fun, I can do something closer to home tomorrow.

I'm sorry are start times didn't jive guys. I like starting early to see wildlife, sunrises, beat the heat, beat the rain, beat the crowds and I can't help myself . This was an all day hike as it was. I hope we can hook up for another hike soon.

Thanks, Denny
no worries, did your feet survive?
waiting for the next one to be planned!
Hey Stefen,
My feet survived but got a couple cramps going up Pumpkin. I had plenty of Gatorade but maybe needed some calcium? Maybe will see you on the next one.
