I like a very soft cotton, although I ought to get some sort of wicking fabric next time. I have the bright green Teva Joe one. I have worn it to death. It is super soft. I don't know if it is Pima cotton or not, but it feels like it. Even if I wash it in hard water, no softener, and hang it on the clothesline it still dries very soft. There are a lot of cotton fabrics that won't do that.

- click "customize it"
- click objects on hat to edit
- for side embroidery, change "style" to "Flexfit Wool" or "Distressed Chino Twill"
- change "front middle" to "right bottom" or "left bottom"
- add text
you can change any of the shirt styles too
for hiking it's highly unlikely you want cotton... ( think chafing )
- be sure to select "micro fiber" or "Sport-Tek"
Has anyone tried the HAZ "Trucker Cap"? The polyester front seems like it might trap a lot of heat, but the mesh sides and back would ventilate better than the other styles. I'm thinking it might make a nice convertible, adding a bandana cape for side/back protection.

Only a couple of the hat styles allow for embroidery on the side. The distressed chino twill and the basic flexfit wool.
The basic flexfit wool one is the only one that allows for embroidery on the back center.
The basic adjustable cap only allows embroidery on the front.
I only figured this out by trial and error. Because it doesn't seem to be explained by Zazzle particularly well.
I did notice that the embroidered logos for the hat (haz mtns or kokopelli guy) now allow you to change the thread color. That's a new, and a nice change.
I'm not sure what my spirit animal is, but I'm confident it has rabies.
So, I ordered 2 basic flexfit wool hats during the 1/2 sale. I was a little leery about the size, I wear a 7 5/8 size which is the top end of the L/XL. I've also never liked a hat that I've ordered from online and most of them are over $30 .... I know, I know... I'm a bit of a hat snob but I always have a hat on!
I've had them for a couple days..and they're GREAT HATS They look good and better yet they fit my big melon I highly recommend them.
Even at their normal price ;)
I'm sure that the color will bleed some but most wool hats will especially colors as bright as the one I got
