Camping below Fossil Creek bridge
I know there is no camping above the bridge, but are there any known options between Bridge and Verde? Any rules, do's, don'ts?
This is my gym. I have to travel down a bumpy road to get there. There are no treadmillls, no machines, and no personal trainers. I walk..I run..I breathe the fresh air. I can go any time I want, as much as I want and there is no membership fee.

@RickVincent
Depends when you go. In summer you can't camp except west of Stehr Lake. And no campfires ever, until you are past Ike Saddle (heading down to the Verde).

I'm not sure what my spirit animal is, but I'm confident it has rabies.

@chumley
Great info. Thank you. Going in with my kids to do Fossil Creek and Verde Hot Springs. We will be there right on the crossover of the summer/winter dates (Oct 1 - 2), so will just do the Verde Hot Springs first (camp at Childs dispersed camping area) then venture back out to Fossil Creek for day 2 for the first permit-free day.
