I am looking at doing this hike from Bronco Butte Trailhead. Either on Wednesday or Thursday.
My question here is about water flow.
I will be using the Eagles route which seems to be the most informative route.

Re: China Wall- Rackensack
The interwebs reports Cave Creek Wash at Spur Cross Trailhead is running at 44cfs (another gauge nearby shows 53cfs). This has been dropping steadily since 1am when it was at 95cfs.
Seven Springs Wash at the Humbolt Mtn turn is back to zero.
Cave Creek at the "Ashdale Ranger station" is showing a paltry 9cfs, but it's probably a glitch since it has otherwise been zero for the last two weeks. But it was also at zero when I was there a couple of weeks ago, and there was definitely water flowing. But it was also easily crossed without getting wet.

I'm not sure what my spirit animal is, but I'm confident it has rabies.
