Nikwax waterproofing

Post by PatrickL »

I have a comfortable pair of boots that I don't yet want to get rid of, however water eventually found its way in on their first wet hike. They aren't Goretex so Nikwax seems like a possible alternative. Any HAZers have experience with it?

@PatrickL
I use it frequently and it really does prolong the boots' life. I know this because a pair that I didn't use it (or anything else) on didn't last very long at all.
