"Ruins"

It looks like the word "ruins" is the latest cancel culture target. This is from the Coconino National Forest:
"Yesterday, the sign at Elden Pueblo Project was officially changed to remove the word "ruins," which is no longer used for heritage sites where people once lived. Ruins refer to the remains of a structure or object that has been destroyed or fallen into disrepair. Elden Pueblo, or Pasiwvi (“Pah-see-’oo-vi”) is recognized by the Hopi people as an ancestral village, occupied from A.D. 1070 to about A.D. 1275. These places continue to hold special significance to current tribal members, so the term has been deemed inappropriate and the area has been re-named."

My Garmin watch measures my stress level thruout each day.

0-25 = Rest
26-50 = Low
51-75 = Medium
76-100 = High

Day in and day out, I consistently average a stress level of 30-32. I attribute that in large part to both being oblivious to, and utterly not caring, about which words in my vocabulary are no longer acceptable in society or a victim of cancel culture. It’s quite freeing.

Will this cause the location to magically rebuild itself, or no?

Does this mean all mentions of "ruins" on HAZ must be scrubbed clean, [ Loy Canyon Trail #5 ] popped up rather ironically right after I posted. Perhaps Native American Heritage Site and Secret Mountain? Scrub it! Scrub all mentions of offensive language from the world.

Since it's a native structure and they have their own word for it, that seems more appropriate to use.
