A hiker posted a video that showed the flow of water from Yuntai Mountain Waterfall - billed as China's tallest uninterrupted waterfall - was coming from a pipe built high into the rock face.
Operators of the Yuntai tourism park said that they made the "small enhancement" during the dry season so visitors would feel that their trip had been worthwhile.
Yosemite officials are reportedly following the story with plans to enhance Yosemite Falls during the dry late summer season.

They can use Colorado River water, keeping AZ more arid to better meet the expectations of desert visitors.

Wrong water source for Yosemite Falls. That's in the Sierra's. Let them use California water, it's going to be all of the Colorado River States, and tribes vs CA. California has political power and money, the other states cannot match.

My biggest disappointment in life, aside from a few folks, was never seeing the flaming falls of Yosemite.
"The original, artificial Yosemite firefall was officially extinguished in 1968 after Yosemite National Park director George Hertzog declared that the tradition was too gimmicky and artificial for a national park." So would Hertzog technically be Woke now?
