Darn cactus starting a new gang war.
in all seriousness this appears to have ended as good as it possibly could have.

I'm no David Baker, but if I was a journalist, I'd start by asking the popo if maybe the suspects could face charges on the three obvious violations I just wrote about in my news story.By David Baker

Two men have been detained
... a parker ranger heard gunshots come from Piestewa Peak Park and saw two men.
... the vehicle ... was stolen.
... the driver didn’t stop and ran a red light.
... It’s unclear what charges the suspects will face.
I'm not sure what my spirit animal is, but I'm confident it has rabies.

I had to look at the date stamp of this post. I'm pretty sure this has happened almost every year now far awhile.

Such a shame, I heard the cactus had both arms up when they shot him too.

Re: Piestewa Saguaro Shooting
@FOTG Do you think those guys stooped even lower and shot him in the back?
Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty & well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, totally worn out & proclaiming, "Wow What a Ride!"
