Must be one hell of a vortex, there.

At least a money pit, for sure.

Re: Sedona Realestate
Beautiful location--- but way to much upkeep. I can see that turning from a dream to a night mare for the not very well off financially.
I've been perusing some places in China that would put this one to shame tho--- maybe I'll post those videos.

Re: Sedona Realestate
I wondered about that, too. He's rich and old, and build his monument. When he goes, if it isn't sold to another rich person, it will either start to rot and have to be removed or maybe get turned into a museum. Actually, I could see an investor buying it and turning it into a $1,000 a night Air BnB. Basically, a party house.
He went cheap with wood on the first floor, where I would have thought steel framing and a poured concrete surface would have been smarter. Oh, well.
I wonder, what happens to the place in 50 years. Is this another house that used to be right at the edge of the Phoenix Mountain Preserve and was visible from some of the trails on that south side, or will it turn into something like that church in VoC, or Taliesin West.

Re: Sedona Realestate
Yeah, Sedona's crazy expensive. I looked at a few places there a couple years back, stunning views, but the prices were...well, let's just say my bank account cried. Definitely a "money pit" if you're not already loaded.
