A friend of mine has a bike shop and he sets up there every year. I haven't actually been but he tells me that its really a lot of trendy equipment and hot new gadgets that most experienced outdoors people would tend to be disinterested in. I still think it looks like a good time. They have all kinds of cool demonstrations and they have a mountain bike track and a place to test out kayaks.

We had a booth at the first one last year. We won't waste the time or money this year.

It wasn't "that" bad. The biggest hit was the fishing pond...so, if you have kids, they'll probably be entertained. The majority of the event is actually more hunting and fishing...we just don't do much of either. Other than that, mostly we just heard other vendors complaining about not making any money and having to spend $5 for a hotdog. Our booth was free because we did all the promotional graphics for the event.
Maybe someone from here will go today and can report back...it might be greatly improved this year?
