We will head into the Sycamore Canyon Wilderness on Friday and will spend Saturday evening at the historic Taylor Cabin. The canyon is west of Sedona and is much like Oak Creek Canyon, but without the development and crowds. The area features impressive sandstone cliffs, abundant riparian plant life, and beautiful desert terrain. Taylor Cabin is a national historic site and was built in the early 1830s as a line camp for cowboys grazing cattle in the canyon.
