Tonto Creek
Stayed at Tonto Creek campground last week (Thurs-Sat.). Served as a base camp fro hiking Horton Creek, Derrick, Babe Haught and Christopher Creek. I also mtn. biked to the ridge top overlooking Bear Flat (Tonto Forest Route 405) and Little Green Valley including one night ride to Green Valley on Tonto Forest Route 405A. Neat and clean campground ($ 10.00 day) that has 8 spaces. Recommend staying during the week.. Campground is open from mid April to early Oct.
