Pass Mountain Tail 11-7-03

Post by Marc LaBelle »

I was going to hike Pass Mountain Trail this friday morning (11-7-03) around 0700-0715 hours, in the A.M. I was wondering if anyone wanted to jump in.

In response to MARC LABELLE's reply:

Wish I could but I have to work. It's a great hike! BTW, I think you can access this trail at the end of Meridian and save yourself the fee at Usery Park.

Pass Mt Loop

Marc, I wish I could, this is one of my favorite hikes, but I have an east side hike on Saturday so can't. If you haven't done this hike, you will like it! CK1's description is detailed and everything it says. When you reach the pass, there is a trail that leads to the top of the large ledge, take it! Worth it! The view of the mountains is great!
The value of life lies not in the length of days, but in the use we make of them.

Hey Marc, going to Reavis Ranch this weekend or i would be game. Really want to start getting out more often. Drop me a line if you are planning another trip and hopefully it will work out.

Brad,

If you're going for an overnight, or more, be sure to grab the campsite just after crossing the creek on the south end. Was there last weekend and not much pooled water other than that crossing, unless you want to bushwack. Pack in some warm layers and a rain tarp. You might get some early morning drizzles.

FYI
