I was ready for a hard-core Goldfield hike with Ted Tenney and then saw on his site that he had a heart attack, cancelled all of his hikes, and is recovering at home! No one has any hikes posted...not friendshiking, not trailblazers, not S. Club. Wow!

So...anyone up for some fun desert hiking? I was thinking of the Supes but also love to do Western AZ this time of year. Table Mountain is always good...or there's plenty around Superior...I was thinking of something on the order of 6-12 miles...

I'm available Friday, Saturday, or Sunday...though I'd rather hike Sat or Sun as Friday is a decent football day...

Jim I hope you don't have to work and can join me!

Someone please come hike with me or else I'll be forced to wander around the Goldfields lonely, sad and lost.

A group of people on AZH are planning a 18 mile superstition hike this weekend (29th). The plan is to do the dutchman trail from peralta to first water. The details can be found at http://www.arizonahikers.com/board/viewtopic.php?t=732 its kind of a long topic but the info is summed up on page 12 or 13. I beleive the start time is 7:00. There are also some options for shorter variations with other sub-groups.
