As many of you know I was recently appointed as a board member to the Highlands Center of Natural History. Well, they are building a second site on Walker Road near Lynx Lake. An idea was to have school kids in the Prescott School District decorate tiles with the local animals, florals, and plants of the Prescott area. The tiles once finished and fired would then be installed in the restrooms of the new site.
They did not have enough tiles done, so a call went out to staff and members to volunteer and finish the tiles needed to complete the project. So I volunteered, as well as, three of my children. we had a blast!
And today, I found out who the real artist are in my family......and it ain't me.
