Blue Range Road...

Post by MOVER »

what is the condition of the road that goes from pueblo park(in nm) to 191 near hannagan's meadow? the blue range map shows it as an improved road and i have driven a car back into pueblo park just fine. i am just curious about the rest of the road all the way to 191.

thanks for the help...

Didn't the high country get a ton of snow recently? I too would like to know the condition of 191! I want to use my cabin as basecamp, and get acclimated. I just don't think I could make it out, even with 4 wheel drive.

From what I read from the NOAA (weather) website Hannagan Meadow received 24 inches of snow.

FR 567 from the Blue River to hwy 191 is a maintained, all weather road. Its curvey and steep in places and a bit slippery when wet; but its, generally, not a problem for 2wd cars. Just drive slowly and enjoy the view.
