backpacking w/water in the desert

Post by domromer »

I'm looking for a short easy backpacking trip in the desert, Just an overnighter. Also it would be real nice is there was water there, I'm trying to avoid packing it in if possible. I looked at reavis ranch but's it's already too cold. I'd like a nice Sonoran Desert backpacking weekend before I move to Oregon

Reevis was real nice the past Saturday. Cloud cover I assume kept it around 40. I was actually hot in a 32* with a silk liner.

Here's one: http://hikearizona.com/decoder.php?ZTN=229

just hike out-and-back to the "Box". Its a very weird and pretty canyon.
