twitten,
Welcome to AZ and welcome to the best hiking site about AZ. You may want to check the HAZ Chili Shindig thread.

I expect there to be all types of people there that would be willing to introduce you to hiking in our great state.

Again welcome and enjoy your stay,
GTG

Twitten, We have group hikes periodicly. When the next on comes up be sure to check it out. I have been on 2 of them and it is really fun. Great way to meet people and go on neet hikes. There was one up Humphreys Peak in Flagstaff, but that was cancelled due to fire hazards, and the forest service shut the forests down. :(
Right now do not expect much. With the forests shut down up north and being to hot down south there is not much to do now.

Hi twitten,

By now I'm sure you have found a hiking bud or two. My significant gal Heather and I are always looking for friends to venture out with locally. We usually do Sat morns and Mon morns. Nothing too strenuous, just a great workout.

We're building ourselves up for a weekend thing with a few other friends who are a bit more advanced than we are. (talking topo maps here).

Let me know if you are interested. :)

See ya
