Raft!
Hooray! We just got an 18' Rogue river raft for a song. We're hunting around for gear (frame, oars, etc.) and wondering about if anyone else has experience with this sort of thing, and if so, do you have any recommendations for places to get gear/avoid and anything you particularly like/hate?

Re: Raft!
You could check out the Grand Canyon Private Boater's Association website, but I think you'd have to pay the 30 bucks to join in order to get in on used gear deals. I personally would join that site if I had time to go on a river trip any time soon.

Re: Raft!
Rob, did you ever get that thing outfitted? If so, would you like to put it to good use?

Re: Raft!
There's a few little bits of gear that we need to add on (like a big cooler and spare oars) but its essentially outfitted. We've got a permit application in for the San Juan, and we should hear back about that by the first week of March. We're really anxious to put it to good use. What do you have in mind (or should I read your other post)?
