The Citadel Anasazi Ruins

Hello, my husband & I are planning to explore Southeast Utah... does anyone know the direction & trail description for the Citadel Anasazi Ruins off Bluff, Utah?

I am also curious about the trail head that will enable me to hike to the top of Comb Ridge...

I think Butler Wash Road is the where I can find both interest points but I don't know the access points.

Any spot along Butler Wash Road, or the Butler Wash Road Ruins ( http://hikearizona.com/decoder.php?ZTN=1293 ) would function as a route to the top of Comb Ridge...just park and hike up! As for the Citadel...that's out on Cedar Mesa, to the west of Comb Ridge. My basic thoughts on giving locations of cool places (including, but not limited too ruins) are as follows:
A) It should be on at least one published map, identified by name or feature (i.e. ruin, cliff dwelling), and preferably a topographic map.
B) If it is not on a map, it should have been mentioned/described in at least TWO reputable guide books.
C) If it is present on a map and/or two guide books, there should not be some overriding reason NOT to describe the location. Usually this means, for me, presence of certain types of fossils, exceptional concentrations of fossils, exceptional concentration of artifacts, presence of rare artifacts, unusually well preserved AND isolated structures, or fragile geologic, paleontologic, or archaeologic resources.

Some folks on here might PM you the details of The Citadel. If you're staying in Bluff, check in with Jim at the Recapture, he might be willing to give directions, and usually knows current road conditions. Same with the Cedar Mesa Ranger Station.
