Hey everyone, fun family event going on Sept. 20 & 21 at Slide Rock State Park...

You can find out more by listening to the 5-minute podcast on it at the "Arizona State Parks Audio Update" podcast...in iTunes (or your podcast program of choice). Not much of a hike there (0.6 miles), but one the kiddos can enjoy :D

By the way, if you aren't subscribed to this podcast, it is one you might want to subscribe to. Not a lot of posts, but when they do come out, they are neat family mini-hikes/outings.

There's also a Hiking Grand Canyon podcast created by the National Park Service, that puts out a corridor and non-corridor trails update every month or so.
