p.s. I don't acutally have a room availabe. My lease expires in August (and it's a one bedroom).

Homeless Hiker Part 2
Last year around this time Chumley advertised an available room and titled it "Homeless Hiker". Well, now I AM the homeless hiker ;) Actually my girlfriend, with whom I've been living for the last 6 months, is moving back up to Flag for grad school. I've gotten used to splitting rent and don't feel like renting my own place again, so I thought I'd throw it out there in case anyone is looking for a roommate.
p.s. I don't acutally have a room availabe. My lease expires in August (and it's a one bedroom).

Re: Homeless Hiker Part 2
Wow what a good idea. Joe can we use the site to find a potential roommate??? If not, you can PM me about this later. ;)
I live in (are you ready?) Goodyear. I have a very nice house that has plenty of rooms. I love it but I spend Tues - Friday at work 6 am to 7:30 pm and the weekends I try to spend most of my time outdoors. Honestly, the thought of sharing my house with a stranger has intimidated me, however there is something about a fellow outdoor adventurer that brings me comfort. I am easy going, quite clean and may owe Joe 59.99 for using his site as a roommate finder... It seems like a waste to have this place to myself, I just have to let you know I am a little possessive about my food... I just don't want to be looking forward to eating my _____ and come home to find it gone. That is about it, except for the location; trust me I know I work in N. Scottsdale.

I don't have a computer… Not because I'm against having one. Really just hasn't been a top priority on my gear list.
I am now attempting to navigate, post, reply (etc..) this site with only an iPhone… Wish me luck!

Oh man, I missed the replies to this. Hikergirl- I work in central Phoenix and you are a bit too far west. thanks for the offer, though!
Jeremy- You seem to have a good location that I would have been interested in. Unfortunately, I signed a 12 month lease about two weeks ago at a different place. Thanks though ;) Maybe I'll do a homeless hiker III in a year.

Re: Homeless Hiker Part 2
Jeremy, welcome to HAZ!! I did call my backpacker son in Mesa who's looking for a room right now, but I think he may have found one.
