Barnhardt-Rock Creek Loop Questions

Post by kate »

Hey there fellow hikers - does anyone have any recent information on trail conditions and water availability for the Barnhardt-Rock Creek Loop? Its on the list of options for a one night backpack trip this weekend but I've seen some older postings saying the trails out there are very difficult to navigate due to the fire back in '05. Any info or opinions on this hike would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

The Half Moon Trail would be part of this loop. Pack some long sleeves and armor for that. Shoulder height catclaw.
