I bought a new Oregon 450t that I'm very happy with and I need to part with this to offset the cost of the new one. I'm including a 256 MB card with the Southwest states topo (I believe it's AZ, CO, UT, and NM). If you get this data from Magellan, you need to be able to register it to the unit, or else the GPS unit won't read the data. That's all taken care of with this card. I'm looking for $150 obo. Attached is a picture of it with the screen showing the topo. PM me if interested.

How is the Screen readability on your 450t in bright sunlight? Been looking to upgrade as well and looking at the different choices. That seems to be the negative comment I see over and over in all of the reviews and from people who own them. Just curious.

Re: FS: Magellan Triton 400
I haven't take it out on a hike yet, I'll do that tomorrow. It seems pretty dark when the backlight goes out, but it's essentially the same issue with the Triton 400, so to me going from the Triton 400 to the Oregon 450t is pretty much the same. I think if you angle it the right way, you can read it ok. otherwise touch the screen and it will light up. you can also set the backlight to stay on for up to one or two minutes, which is more than most anyone should need to check it while you're hiking.
