Spur Cross-Cottonwood Loop Sunday Aug. 1
Since the weather forecast for this weekend is currently a little cooler, I decided to try this. I'm going to take Spur Cross up to the Cottonwood Trail and then take the unofficial 247A back to the TH. According to GPSJoe, it's 9.4 miles and 1900' AEG. Leaving Mesa at 5:30am. If no one else signs up and the forecast gets alot warmer between now and Sun. morning, I might end up at the Lost Dog TH.

Gotta get back a little earlier this sunday, so I'm trying to stay kind of local for this one. Plus driving south on I-17 on a Sunday is hell.
