Weekend on the Rim (Aug 13-15)

So I'm not sure exactly how to post this because I don't have any real set schedule.

However, I will be camping with some friends on the Rim this weekend in the vicinity of General Springs and have a couple of tentative hikes planned.

Friday, I hope to be exploring the east side of the Cabin Loop. This will be an off-trail exploration and should happen in the 2-6pm range.

Saturday we will be hiking the Fred Haught Trail from General Springs to a car shuttle that we set up either at Pinchot Cabin, or perhaps up to Aspen Springs or McFarland Springs on the Houston Brothers Trail. This should be a 9-10am start time.

Sunday we will be doing the hike down to Washington Park on the Colonel Devin Trail, with the Railroad Tunnel Spur. Again we should be starting around 9-10 on this from the FR300 trailhead.

It'll just be me and Kai on Friday, and a group of 2-4 on Saturday and Sunday. If you're going to be in the area let me know if you want to tag along.
