Bumper Crop Part II
More pot farms have been found and raided the past two weeks. Seems the plant of choice is red bud columbian.

Re: Bumper Crop Part II
Actually, someone I am close to found a huge patch with several thousand large trees near there in 2008. There is a long story to go with this, but he did feel he had to report it because of some things that happened, otherwise he said he probably would have just left it alone.
Incidentally, he said that after the cops came and took everything, they had left behind a pile of trash, sleeping bags, tents, etc. and I guess the FS never did go back out there to clean it all up. Plus there were bags of seed and parts of seeded plants left behind. Some of the plants grew on their own the following year. Also, since the cops did not take everything, there was also some bud left behind, which had gotten a bit moldy by the time he went back there to check it all out. The whole place is trashed, he said, really a big mess.
