HIKER

Post by Abe »

Seen a neat license plate, simple to remember, it said "HIKER". Me and my two little kids were on our way home after hiking around Lynx Lake this afternoon and a SUV passed us up with the plate. Was it any of you guys and gals?

Wow. Pretty cool plate. Bet that was a stroke of luck.

Almost as good as 66NOVA on my... you guessed it... '66 Chevy II :D

I saw another clever one today myself... 'LIK2HIKE' on a Jeep Liberty. Is that one of you HAZites out there? It was missing the required HAZ bumper sticker though. Ten demerits and you gotta hike the Flatiron backwards.

Good grief! You're quite the task-master there Nealz. I'd better get my bumper sticker on my car pronto!

Hike the Flatiron backwards? That's pretty brutal. Make em' do it with a 60 lb pack on too.

I hear you all refer to the Flatirons alot. Where are the Flatirons? The only Flat Irons I know of are in Boulder!

The Flatiron is on Superstition Mountain above Siphon Draw and just below the north summit.
This should explain it, http://hikearizona.com/decoder.php?TN=Flatiron.
This hike ROCKS! If you haven't done it, put it on your list!

AridTom,

You better not let me know where you live, my husband will have to come steal your car! That is his all time favorite car. You lucky dog!

Mine too. I had to travel 1800+ miles to find one in decent enough shape to make a good street/strip ride.

It's in just a few pieces right now. I'm sure your hubby can relate...
