Perfectly okay to post what you did. We participate in sales of appropriate gear on this site every now and again. Although it would suck if that became the major theme of this site. Once in a while is good and usually you get a fairly quick response.

You know, a bulletin board or classified ad section for this site might not be a bad idea. You know, it's there if you're looking to buy or sell, and if not, you don't need to bother with it.

I was looking for a bulletin board for classified ads. I just didnt know if this was the proper forum. I know all you fellow hikers and backpackers are super rich
