We've been planning to do Siphon Draw/Flatiron this Saturday with a few friends but the weather is calling for a 30% chance of rain. It sounds like Siphon Draw isn't the place to be if rain is even possible? Can anyone suggest an alternative in the vicinity that might be safe for a 30% chance of rain? We'd like something around the ~6 mile range and a little work is no problem. We're pretty fit - we did Peralta beyond Weaver's needle and back (9 miles total) last Saturday.
Thanks!

Re: Alternative to Siphon/Flatiron if rain is possible
I personally wouldn't consider Siphon Draw even a slight hazard this weekend. My only thought might be the potential for lightning while out on the flatiron. Otherwise I think the weather this weekend would be absolutely ideal for that kind of climb! But if the rock is wet from rain, you should have some good grip shoes and take a little extra care.
If you're extra lucky, there might be a trickle of water coming down the waterfall, but the forecast doesn't seem to support much rain.

I'm not sure what my spirit animal is, but I'm confident it has rabies.

Another nice one is around the corner (NE) to Massacre Falls http://hikearizona.com/decoder.php?ZTN=75
