The event date has to be set at the top of the page so it appears on the calendar ... and allows other users to join. I took care of it, so it should be working now.
I'm not sure what my spirit animal is, but I'm confident it has rabies.
@DBmooner it will be I promise! @Tough_Boots when is labor weekend? did i pick that weekend?! oh goodness no...no more tourists! i honestly don't even pay attention to holidays anymore so i wouldn't know...
Are cartwheels a requirement? Or can I just do a round-off?
I put myself in the "interested" column for now but I have a software upgrade that weekend so I can't commit yet

Give this old lady a break, OK? ;) I may be able to manage a cartwheel by 2013 but my aerial days are long gone!
What pace did y'all have in mind for this hike? Warp or sub-warp speed?

@Trishness knowing us....warp speed 8 in Trekkie terms...but for you we can tone it down to 7 ;)
no, a reasonable pace, not slow and steady for sure but probably not as fast as we usually hike since I'm still recovering from my funky tendon thing... maybe 3.7 mph
@DBmooner you're fast going downhill DB, I ate your dust on Squaw Peak!! I've never done National thru so I have no clue how it will be, if there are enough of us we will stick together for fun times, if it's only a few speed hikers with us then we'll take off at a mad dash. no worries, come out and join us Trish & DB!

Understand, when you eat meat, that something did die. You have an obligation to value it - not just the sirloin but also all those wonderful tough little bits.

I have to cancel also due to an ankle injury. I couldn't even hike 5 miles this past weekend! Another time perhaps.
