Dog Rescue
This time, the Owners cared enough to act, and it was a good ending.....http://www.lifewithdogs.tv/?p=59240
Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty & well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, totally worn out & proclaiming, "Wow What a Ride!"

Re: Dog Rescue
at least he was a mtn dog capable of surviving the weather up there! a chihuahua would've been a pupsicle on day one!

Re: Dog Rescue
Too bad people don't survive as long as dogs. There's some kind of lesson in that.

Re: Dog Rescue
I tend to think of it as "Too bad cats (or dogs) don't live as long as people."

http://prestonm.com : Everyone's enjoyment of the outdoors is different and should be equally honored.

It depends on whether you start the timeline at birth or getting lost.kingsnake wrote:I tend to think of it as "Too bad cats (or dogs) don't live as long as people."

Re: Dog Rescue
If my cat ever got lost she'd spend the first 2 days just hanging out enjoying the freedom then she'd realize "oh pumpkin I'm lost" then walk 23 miles home and sit at the door nonchalantly licking her toes until we got home with our arms full of missing posters... [-X
Dogs probably wouldn't realize they were lost at all until someone finds them....seriously, half the dogs we get in here become our best friend the moment they step in.
Humans tend to panic the second they step off the trail, especially if it's dark.
Cats win.
