Quagga Mussel adults confirmed (and removed) from Lake Powell at Wahweap. Coupled with a positive DNA hit from Penstock 4 late last year it seems like they are established in the lake.

I thought they were in the colorado river lakes for a while now? And pleasant got theirs when the CAP connected to it a few years back as well as striper bass. I wonder if Mead, Mohave, or Havasu have them?

Yeah, they've been everywhere below Lake Powell but Glen Canyon has had a very strong and active interdiction effort. This is a pretty big blow to containing this invasive species to the Lower Basin. It also hits my wife pretty hard - her Master's thesis that she is finishing up is about exactly this issue. She has to do some serious rewrites now...
