I was just wondering if anyone has hiked this area lately? And if so is there water there now and how are the trails(overgrown)etc.
I am planning on hiking it this Saturday 11-23-13 and this will be my first hike there.

You'll have no problem finding water. It'll be dripping off your hat.

I'm not sure what my spirit animal is, but I'm confident it has rabies.

Re La Barge Lower-Box Loop
Larry,
You can read "slowandsteady"s generic triplog "Boulder-La Barge Canyon Loop, AZ" from 11/17/13 but I think the water level will rise
if the rain forecast for on Friday falls.

Re La Barge Lower-Box Loop
no, thank you. i was just in this area, and can confirm that there is water at the entrance to the lower box, and at the pool just around the bend, upon entering the box. also a couple pools in Boulder canyon just before the second water intersection.
