Coming soon- Indiegogo campaign with unique and exclusive incentives to help raise $20,000 for the Arizona Trail Association to maintain, promote, and protect the trail!
Hope to see a bunch of HAZers out at the events and on the AZT!
Just two days until kickoff!! Visit http://www.aztrail.org/azttrek to register for hikes and see which Gateway Community events are near you and follow my journey on the Arizona Trail Association Facebook or on Twitter at @AZTRAIL.
For me, sometimes it's just as much about the journey as the destination. Oh, and once in awhile, don't forget to look back at the trail you've traveled.
Hi All- I'm back!! Finished the Arizona Trail Trek on May 31st and am now back in Tucson catching up on my sleep...
What an incredible experience to have walked from one end of the state to the other in one journey, a totally different experience from section hiking back in 2008-09. Both the trail and I have changed a lot.
:thanx: to all the HAZers who came out to the hikes and events and donated to the campaign! The total raised for the Arizona Trail Association is $17,800
And another thanks goes out to JJ for hosting one of the most fun events of the whole series at his Scottsdale location
Just amAZing Sirena and congratulations! Now you need to write about your adventure and publish it~~~~~~

Congrats! Bandit and I rolled in a bit behind you on June 6. I was sad to find out that the register book was missing when I got there! So whats the next big adventure?
I know, finally reach the Stateline after months of hiking only to find that there's no register- what a bummer! I was so looking forward to seeing all the thru-hikers names and see who finished when. Oh well.
Great seeing you on the trail and at the events and glad you and Bandit reached Utah!! As for my next adventure, my river season starts in a couple of weeks, softens the blow of being done with the trail to know I'm spending my summer in the Grand Canyon After that, who knows...?
