Just an FYI for anyone thru hiking and needing to resupply from L.F. Ranch. A hiking partner and I had planned on catching a ride from L.F. Ranch into Payson for resupply, but found to our dismay that they are not offering rides at the moment. We were informed that someone was ticketed in Payson while driving some hikers into town. We were told that they couldn't afford to do any more "charity work for hikers" due to this. While the bunkhouse is still available, it didn't seem like the woman we spoke with had any interest in providing rides going forward. If anyone else has updates on this subject, or if they are again offering rides for hikers, then please update this forum topic. We arrived and received this news on Tuesday, April 29.
