Tucson Hikes & Trail Run
Will be in Tucson visiting my folks over the weekend. Would like to do one trail run and one hike(preferably that ends in a scramble to the top of something). I'll be out on the eastside and would like to stay on that side of town. It's been decades since I've done anything in Tucson and even back then it was generally a mile or two at best to get to a spot to go rock climbing. Already looking on HAZ, but overwhelmed by my choices.

Re: Tucson Hikes & Trail Run
Nice trail run is up Bear Canyon, looping around and down Phoneline trail (Sabino Canyon)... you could divert and hike Thimble Peak for a very minor scramble...
...check out the Pillars... first hairpin turn on the hiway climbing up to Mt Lemmon... semi-scramble most of the way, but short.
Rattlesnake Canyon also a great scrambly hike... off trail but open and clear...
